Film Making Workshop
At Hubber Hubber Products, we provide collaborative, hands-on production assistance across short films, TV, branded content, and community media. From pre-production to post, we offer practical, proactive support with clear communication, cultural awareness, and problem-solving at the core.
OUR WHY
If Bill Onus’s film Ablaze taught us anything, it’s this: film is one of the most powerful tools we have to share truth, preserve identity, and ignite meaningful change. It challenges perceptions, amplifies silenced voices, and brings visibility to experiences too often left in the margins.
From stories of cultural heritage, identity, and resilience to those exploring mental health, disability, gender equality, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ pride, climate activism, or the impacts of violence and discrimination, film gives storytellers a platform to express what matters most.
We are living in a time where truth-telling is not just important, it’s essential. As our world reckons with injustice, inequality, and the need for systemic change, we must listen more deeply, elevate lived experience, and empower people, especially young people, to own and share their narratives with courage and creativity.
That’s why our film workshops go far beyond teaching technical skills. They’re about healing, connection, advocacy, and creative bravery. From scripting and pre-production to filming, editing, sound, and final distribution, participants gain the tools to shape their stories into something powerful, personal, and lasting.
Whether your story is political, personal, cultural, poetic, or all of the above, it matters.
So… what’s your story? Let us help you tell it.
Supporting Closing the Gap
Our programs are designed with the National Agreement on Closing the Gap in mind, contributing to measurable outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children:
By providing accessible, creative learning opportunities, we actively contribute to reducing educational disparities and supporting long-term success.
Partnering with SNAICC
We work closely with SNAICC – National Voice for our Children to ensure our programs are culturally safe, inclusive, and effective.
Their expertise in early childhood development and child protection informs every aspect of our approach, helping us align with broader efforts to close the gap for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
